Cooly C, known for producing hit records for artists such as Luke, Raheem the Dream, Ghetto Mafia, and Kilo Ali, signed Boyd to his label Prophets of Rage/Ichiban Records. Boyd's journey didn't stop there; he later secured a deal with Success/Breakaway/EMI.
Despite his success as an artist, Boyd soon realized his true passion lay behind the scenes, where the real financial opportunities in the music industry exist. Transitioning from performer to industry professional, he played a crucial role in brokering a major publishing deal for a songwriter/producer with APG/Warner Chappell.
Today, Boyd's mission is clear: to coach aspiring rap artists and labels on building their brand, monetizing their music, and achieving success.
